| Also known as Less than Truck Load or LTL. Shipments usually less than 10,000 lbs collected from a variety of shippers. Freight is typically picked up and delivered on a regular route with deliveries in the morning and pickups in the afternoon. Pickups are brought back to a delivery or hub terminal where they are inspected, weighed and sorted for morning delivery the next day. See also Less than Truck Load. | ||
