Flat Fee MLS |

|
The practice of placing a real estate property into the local multiple listing service (MLS) for a fixed fee rather than a traditional commission rate. Greensboro Flat Fee
The broker charges a "flat" or "fixed" fee instead of the traditional percentage of sale price commission. (flat fee Albuquerque)
This allows a for sale by owner (FSBO) home seller access to the marketing power of the local MLS while still saving substantially. Many flat fee home sellers do offer buyer's agents and brokers a buyer's side commission.
This is also sometimes referred to as "fixed fee mls."
